The Night of Dragons
Wandering lonely in the night,
The night with dragons,
Flying freely in the sky;
Beside the sea, upon the trees,
Fluttering and whispering in the breeze.
The way into paradise,
The night shines, in silence.
Peace, but lose. For
Storm, blood, and wild
Which means much to life,
Sacrificed, never will in my sight.
The eye of heaven comes to bright,
Fading the last brush of violet.
Back to the peak are the dragons,
Abandoned again, in the garden of Eden.
Farewell, my dragons' night,
Don't be surprised to find me again
In the dream, or dual eternity.

为了尽量符合古典英诗格律的修改版本。嗯，要不然怎么向老师交差呢……
简单地说，四音步就是每行都是8个音节，分为4音步，抑扬格就是每个音步都是“from light to heavy”
比方说“Deser/ting me /again/, in hash.”
同时也尽量做到全部押韵。
不过，是不是就有点诘屈聱牙了……

T's peace but lose, for storm and blood,
Which to denote the vis of soul,
Is sacrificed, ne'er back my call.
The eye of heaven comes to bright,
To fade the last piece of violet.
Then back to peak the dragons are,
Deserting me again, in hash.
Sigh but farewell, my dragons' night,
Don't be surprised again find I,
In dream, or bath in holy light.
不要怀疑，英美文学课上居然预告要交一篇creative poem所以写了这篇早死早超生（喂！
虽然没有古英文和各种奇葩缩写，不过悄悄提醒一下，有非常多的双关，甚至有三关～所以我翻译不出中文来……（根本就是懒！
至于抒情主体是谁，叙述者是谁，背景是什么，答案不唯一，不同的人读应该有不同的解释，请自行体会:3
night, paradise(garden of Eden), sacrifice, violet, abandon几个词的意思显然不是那么简单⊙w⊙～
The eye of heaven喻太阳，与下文the garden of Eden呼应
